- Sit where you can see one another, not only the screen.
- Repeat a useful word in a natural phrase: “Lion! The lion is waking up.”
- Pause before helping so the child has time to listen and decide.
- Use the same words later during meals, dressing, walks or bath time.
- Choose a short session and return to a favourite on another day.
